Town Ambassador Program

Become the Trusted Local Connection Between Businesses and Discovery

Resume5 Town Ambassadors are trusted local professionals who verify real businesses in the real world — and help ensure they are accurately discovered across search engines and AI platforms.

This is not a sales role.
This is a leadership role.

What Is a Town Ambassador?

A Town Ambassador is a locally trusted individual who:

  • Personally visits businesses in their town
  • Verifies that each business exists, operates, and is accurately represented
  • Documents the visit with an original on-site photo or short video
  • Becomes the public “Verified by” connection for those businesses

Every verified business is tied to a real person — not an algorithm, review, or ad.

Three Parallel Roles of a Town Ambassador

The Town Ambassador role operates through three parallel engines:

1. Internal Broadcast

Personal Network Activation

You introduce Resume5 through your real relationships — friends, clients, colleagues, and community connections.

Not promotion.
Awareness.

2. External Discovery

Business Verification in the Real World

You walk into businesses, explain the mission, and verify them in person.

No selling.
No cost to the business.
No advertising.

3. Trust & Knowledge

In the Town and in Your Network

You become a trusted local point of knowledge in a world filled with misinformation, fake listings, and automated content.

Real people.
Real places.
Real verification.

What Town Ambassadors Receive

Town Ambassadors are actually getting:

  • An exclusive territory (often for years)
  • A permanent, indexed personal brand asset
  • Public authority (“Verified by [Your Name]”)
  • Repeated visibility tied to every business you verify
  • First-mover advantage in your town
  • A platform that compounds over time
  • Association with a trust + verification movement
  • Zero competition in your assigned territory

This is not short-term marketing.
This is long-term positioning.

What This Role Is Not

  • ❌ Not sales
  • ❌ Not advertising
  • ❌ Not listings or reviews
  • ❌ Not cold outreach campaigns
  • ❌ Not promoting your own services

Town Ambassadors recognize businesses — they don’t pitch them.

Who Is a Good Fit?

Town Ambassadors are often (but not limited to):

  • Local professionals
  • Community leaders
  • Business owners
  • Well-connected residents who care about their town

You do not need a large social media following.
You do need credibility, comfort talking to people, and belief in the mission.

Activity Expectations

  • Verify 4–5 businesses per month in your town
  • Consistency matters more than volume
  • Quality visits always come first
  • Maintain a respectful, non-sales tone

This role is designed to fit alongside an existing career.

Territory & License

  • One Town Ambassador per town or city (with limited exceptions)
  • Annual license
  • Territory is an authorization tied to activity and integrity

This protects the value of the role for everyone.
