Before Resume5 became a human-verified business network, it began in the real world — with conversations, visits, and early signs that businesses wanted to be recognized for doing the right thing.
In the beginning, there was no formal verification process. There was no defined role called a Town Ambassador. There was only a simple idea:
real businesses deserve to be seen.
These early photos represent that moment in time.
They reflect participation, curiosity, and support — not formal verification as it exists today.
As Resume5 grew, we learned something important:
Trust isn’t built by photos alone.
It’s built by presence, accountability, and local knowledge.
That realization led to what Resume5 is today:
A clear verification standard
A defined Town Ambassador role
A consistent, in-person process
A visible “Verified by” relationship
Verification needed a name.
And more importantly, it needed structure.
These photos predate Resume5’s formal verification system and are shared to document the origins of human-verified discovery.
The businesses shown here:
Participated early
Helped shape the direction of Resume5
Played a role in the platform’s origin story
They are not labeled as verified, and they are not part of the current Verified Businesses network unless they later completed the official verification process with a Town Ambassador.
This page exists to honor the journey — not to blur the standard.
Resume5 is built on trust.
Trust requires clarity.
That’s why today:
Every verified business is personally visited
Every verification is tied to a named Town Ambassador
Every listing follows the same standard
The past helped define the future — but the standard remains firm.
If you’re looking for officially verified businesses, explore towns and businesses that are clearly marked:
Verified by [Town Ambassador Name]
That is the foundation Resume5 is built on — and protected by.
